Our team has provided designs for rehabilitation or replacement of 12 bridge projects in the past 10 years under these contracts
Prince George’s County in Maryland sustains on-call engineering contracts to keep infrastructure safe and drivable for its citizens. Having a wide range of professional services on-call allows for efficient maintenance as well as expedient consultation for emergency work on critical infrastructure.
Our team was selected to develop and implement transportation and drainage improvements for the fourth consecutive cycle of this contract. Over the past decade, we have provided inspection, design, and rehabilitation services for 12 bridges—all designed to be jointless, as joint elimination could reduce future maintenance cost and extend structure life. Notably, our engineering team worked with the County to provide studies, concept development, environmental documentation, and final design plans for the emergency replacement of the collapsed South Springfield Road Bridge over Burch Branch. We’ve also helped with traffic safety measures and new roadway designs to keep the community safe.
Creating County Standards for small structures is a contribution we made to help developers expedite projects. Our ongoing engineering services for the repair, widening, and replacement of county highways and bridges will continue to help keep roads safe for the travelling public.
