Roadways
Driving communities toward a better future
Roadways are one of the most fundamental components of our infrastructure, driving our economies and our societies. They have the power to do more than just move goods from A to B—they connect people to one another and to the places they want to go within their communities and beyond.
We plan and design roadways that marry functionality with form and help connect our communities today and for decades into the future. Our transportation specialists are matched with our planners, landscape architects, and scientists based on each project’s unique requirements. With focused expertise, diverse experience, and collaborative teamwork, we create solutions that enhance mobility and improve safety for all users while also enhancing the local area.
Through the use of advanced technologies, we make our current roadway infrastructure smarter, helping to transform how we understand—and create—greater mobility.
High speed Rail 2 (HS2) - Phase 1: AW6 Enabling Works Framework
The future High-Speed Rail 2 (HS2) route will provide fast connections between London and Birmingham. The trucks and vehicles delivering construction materials need a route that will minimally impact the environment and the local community members who travel the roads. We are working on a team to design a major interchange and haul road dedicated so the HS2 project stays on track. Learn MoreOur People
