Providing families and friends with a tranquil place to remember loved ones
We are forever indebted to the veterans who protected and served our country. We developed the master plan and provided landscape architecture and civil engineering for this cemetery where solemn ceremonies and contemplative visits will transpire for many years to come. The master plan includes nine design phases, each planned to occur approximately every 10 years. Phase one includes more than 2,000 gravesites for casket interments, more than 700 columbarium niches, and more than 800 in-ground cremain burials.
Visitors enter the cemetery through ornamental gates, passing an iron fence and stone piers. Our designers implemented roads and utilities for the site, as well as irrigation and landscaping consistent with energy and water conservation and environmental preservation. A memorial walkway and flag/assembly area was designed for formal events and gatherings, especially on Memorial Day. Our architectural partner Bentz, Thompson, Rietow designed site buildings including an administration and public information center with electronic gravesite locators, public restrooms, a committal service center, and other support buildings. The cemetery honors our veterans and provides their families and friends a tranquil place to remember loved ones.
