Air Products New Headquarters

Air Products, a worldwide leader in industrial gases, wanted their new global headquarters to support the evolution of the company and attract best-in-class talent. They reached out to our team to design a new facility on their campus: a base for approximately 2,000 employees.

The new headquarters includes a new nine-story office building in addition to a 130,000 square foot (12,077 square metre) research and development facility. It also features a six-story enclosed 1,760 car parking structure and includes a fitness center, greenery, and a solar array on the roof. The campus consolidates the footprint, maximizes flexibility, and creates a sense of community within the business units. With the building incorporating a leading-edge sustainable design practice, the floorplate optimized functionality of real estate with a column free workplace zone.

Our team provided transparency, connection, and increased collaboration as key drivers for the design of the workplace floors. The visual and physical sustainable properties were married into the plan through workplace solar orientation, interconnecting stairs to promote wellness, and a design that responds with green globes and Fitwell platforms.
