A detailed level of communication and coordination were required to produce this high-end design during the COVID-19 pandemic
The American Agricultural Insurance Company (American Ag) was committed to elevating their office space to reflect a more agile workflow, an invigorated brand, and an energized, collaborative culture. As it was centrally located in Schaumburg, Illinois, it was important to provide a welcoming, active, and high-performance space for visiting teams.
American Ag partnered with Stantec Architecture to help develop and realize the vision for this new and dynamic business environment. Key to our design, the Aggregate Café is a centrally located multi-purpose collaboration and social hub. We also introduced dedicated conferencing areas with advanced technology into the café design. Equally crucial was the continuous branding thread we held to, which begins at the front door and weaves throughout all spaces. This branding ties the spaces together with the American Ag logo, graphics, color blocking, a custom-designed millwork employee accolades wall, and a glass timeline.
The entire project was designed, documented, and executed by team members, clients, and consultants working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon completion, our work provides the new space with optimum flexibility for personal work styles along with varying degrees of privacy.
