Using patient-centered design to provide premium healthcare
The population in Pingtung, Taiwan is aging—with a lack of beds and local medical manpower, insufficient medical inspection instruments and equipment, something needed to be done. That’s where we came in.
We created a high-quality medical center, doing everything from preliminary operation, design and execution, and construction, all the way to completion. The hospital design has set Patient Focus Method (PFM) evaluation as the benchmark, and its infrastructure, medical care, and medical treatment are all based on patient-centered planning. Domestic and overseas similar hospital projects and experiences have been integrated and medical resources have been refined to be combined with surrounding community, smart technology, green energy, and friendly environment in order to improve the functions and effectiveness of this hospital.
This hospital, called the Dawu Branch, will be the only medical center in Pingtung. After construction is completed, it will solve the problem of the lack of medical resources in the city and reduce the traffic and time consumption resulted from trans-regional medical treatment for critical illness. It can further drive the development of long-term care and critical illness medical treatment, and will indirectly enhance the trust of local residents in the quality of medical treatment available.
