Serving passengers and industry across an expansive rail network
The Country Rail Network is a passenger, grain, and freight network, connecting regional New South Wales to interstate and metro rail systems—moving customers from A to B, while also transporting coal, grain, and cotton to keep our industries churning. Covering an expanse of 27,000 hectares (66,718 acres) of land, this network has over 2,300 active and 3,100 inactive corridors to maintain.
UGL Regional Linx engaged our team to assess and design bridge and culvert replacements across the Australian Rail Track Corporation network—spanning the South Coast, Orange, and Byron Bay. Key projects include Montem Street in Bowning, Old Bangalow Road in Byron Bay, and Grace Road, Lismore Yard. We will provide engineering, environmental, and survey services through the design phases under the Authorised Engineering Organisation Framework accreditation standards.
Maintaining this network means keeping routes connected—providing a safe, reliable, and sustainable rail network to meet the community’s needs.
