Welcome to Nelson Whakatū
Here in the sunshine capital of New Zealand, we’ve got it good. We’re surrounded by beaches, mountains, and national parks. We’re famous for craft beers and local wines. There’s plenty of tramping, camping and sports for every outdoor enthusiast. Yet there’s always work to be done to maintain that easy lifestyle.
We’ve been here since 1992, working closely with Tasman District Council, Nelson City Council, the Department of Conservation, and others. Our work’s included the Queen Street upgrade, Tasman District Council’s largest capital works programme to date. It’s also included efforts to improve the community experience in our central business district and, importantly, protect that same area from flooding. Our work at the Richmond Water Treatment Plant has provided safe drinking water for residents and visitors alike.
We’re proud of our work. But we’re perhaps even more proud of our team spirit. Together, we support local schools and charities, and we’ve received awards for our client service and collaboration.
