With 24 years’ industry experience, Grant has a thorough understanding of our clients’ resilience needs and strategies, helping him set the vision for our team and plan accordingly. He’s motivated by solving problems and champions his people to achieve their best.
Whether responding to a natural disaster or preparing for one, Grant creates great teams to deliver tailored solutions. He’s a proven leader of projects and programmes, with a background in geotechnical risk assessment and management—this shapes his keen interest in developing resilience strategies to meet our clients’ infrastructural needs and concerns.
Grant is driven to build resilient communities that can cope with a changing climate and increased stress on infrastructure from natural disasters. He has led emergency response and recovery phases for storm events throughout New Zealand, including the delivery of a large volume of landslide repairs following significant damage to the road network.
To unwind, Grant plays in a variety of bands. He also owns a café, and coaches high school volleyball and basketball.
