The Dubai South master planned community has a clear structure, making it easy to understand and navigate, while offering a high level of convenience and walkability. The area is arranged around a series of community centers that create a discernible civic heart, along with neighborhood centers that provide a high level of service and amenities to local residents.
At the core of the community is a civic hub that includes administrative facilities, a library also shared by the school, performance spaces, flexible glasshouse facilities, a main street shopping center that caters to regional retail needs, and a civic park. The K-12 private school, recreation and fitness center, and grand mosque also form an important part of this hub. Residents have access to the convenience of local services, retail options, and community facilities within walking distance from where they live and work.
