One of the best things about working with Jess is that he’s not afraid of a challenge—from becoming a professional skier before graduate school, to earning dual Master of Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning degrees, to competing in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.
Jess is an accomplished landscape architect, specializing in urban design and master planning. Designing communities from the ground up has proven a unique opportunity to implement some of the newest, most innovative sustainable and wellness-related design practices. One of his more notable projects includes the design of a 50-acre Makers District in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The waterfront community has been designed through a process of research and collaboration between design teams around the world specifically to cultivate creativity and enrich people’s lives. Jess is well-versed in the master planning and public realm design of vital waterfront communities after completing more than 10 large scale waterfront community master plans in the past five years.
Outside the office, he enjoys the travel opportunities his work allows, including destinations throughout southeast Asia and an unforgettable African safari through the Kruger National Park bush.
