By being flexible and focused, we were able to meet the budget and schedule targets during Mosaic’s corporate restructuring
Mosaic is the world’s largest combined producer of potash and phosphates, supplying nutrients to farmers around the globe. When Mosaic chose Hill Tower III as the location for their new Potash Headquarters, their goal was to consolidate staff from numerous locations into one contemporary, collaborative, and high-tech environment. Also, for Mosaic, as a committed environmental steward, the choice to pursue LEED® Certification was natural.
Our job? Interior design of all tenant improvements, selection and specification of new furniture, LEED® coordination, move management, and coordination of base-building engineers. The design delivered on Mosaic’s goals with a dynamic, flexible, and sustainable interior environment with equitable access to natural light and views. The color pallet draws on Mosaic’s own earthy and fresh brand, echoing throughout the facility—including vibrant living walls on all floors.
Although corporate restructuring posed a challenge, our team remained fluid and responsive to the continual changes within a fixed budget and schedule. To facilitate a fast-track construction and furniture procurement process, a construction manager was brought on. We accommodated changes by using flexible furniture and wall systems. The result is a warm, collaborative, and contemporary environment that supports Mosaic’s brand and culture.
