Balancing economics and affordability may be a challenge, but it is vital to Jeff’s success with projects. This, combined with an understanding of placemaking and beauty appeal, provides building solutions which respond to and speak about our communities. The University of Regina Centre of Kinesiology, Health and Sport project is one such example. The savings Jeff and his team generated on the project allowed the client to create extra space and increased serviceability, meeting campus and student needs.
Jeff lives and breathes hockey as a player, parent, and coach. It’s no surprise then that Regina’s Cooperators Centre is one of Jeff’s favourite Stantec projects; during the winter he and his family use the ice hockey facilities regularly. His love of hockey spills over into the summer months when he helps organize the annual Stantec Sticks on Rose Street Hockey Tournament fundraiser, an event that benefits the Shooting Stars Foundation in support of local children’s charities.
