We not only helped with blow-fill technology, but also with one of Western Australia’s largest rooftop solar systems
New technology, expanded production, and greater efficiency for a major brand? All in a day’s work for Stantec’s consultants. In two separate projects, we assisted Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) to introduce blow-fill technology into their Kewdale facility in Western Australia and later designed their rooftop solar system.
Our electrical, fire protection, hydraulics, and structural specialists contributed to the refurbishment, line expansion, and installation of blow-fill production technology at the manufacturing plant as part of CCA’s national implementation. More recently, we assisted Infinite Energy with designing one of the state’s largest rooftop solar systems at CCA’s plant which reduced carbon emissions and lowered operational costs. We achieved a compliant panel layout on a roof with mounted services and many skylights through liaison with both CCA and Infinite Energy and met additional protection requirements for the high voltage network connection.
Our specialist advice helped this major brand expand capacity and increase the quality of their production processes in Kewdale, which also helped make progress towards meeting CCA’s corporate energy efficiency pledge for 2020.
