Located at the edge of Chinatown, One Greenway symbolizes the community’s collective desire for affordable and market rate housing
Located at the southern edge of Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway Park and adjacent to Chinatown, One Greenway, is a mixed income development that addresses the city’s critical need for market rate and affordable housing.
A result of community engagement, One Greenway is one of the largest new affordable housing projects in recent memory. The project restores the urban fabric that was lost half a century ago to the construction of major highways and provides much-needed affordable housing in one of the nation’s oldest and largest immigrant communities.
The project introduces a public park that is one third of an acre, which serves as a gateway to downtown Boston. It also has a rooftop club room with adjacent terrace, a yoga studio, a 24-hour gym, 217 market-rate apartments, and 95 affordable apartments. Designed to support a wide range of income levels, One Greenway connects residents to each other and to the fabric of the city.
