Ushering in a new era of a two-story prototype elementary school that better aligns with Alvin ISD’s vision
Alvin Independent School District (ISD) wanted to usher in a new era of elementary schools that aligned with their vision of providing an enhanced, dynamic learning environment with profound safety and security for its students. They approached our team to provide comprehensive architectural services to achieve their goals for this new elementary school.
We provided full architectural services to create a school that enhances the learning environment with bold, inspiring colors, an open library, multiple flex and creative transitional spaces, and natural daylight views to every classroom. When it came to safety measures, we worked closely with Alvin ISD’s security task force as well as city and state governing bodies to create a protected atmosphere for students and to address area traffic issues.
The new EC Mason Elementary School creates a well-sheltered, safe environment for student while still providing a bright, welcoming destination for the community that can host after-school events inside or outside.
