State-of-the-art labs for a public college
Offering over 40 instructional programs that include sciences, business, and technical training, Cañada College has served the residents and the community of San Mateo County for over 50 years. Located in Redwood City, this California public college offers career-training certificates and degrees or transfers to four-year universities or colleges.
With a need for teaching labs, Cañada College looked to our team for professional project planning through to construction. As architect and lab planner, we designed state-of-the-art instructional labs for teaching programs in organic chemistry, general chemistry, geology, micro/cell biology, general biology, human anatomy, physics, and electronic engineering, as well as associated support spaces. Our project services extended from space design and programming on throughout construction administration. The project also included planning of modular temporary labs to allow the teaching program to continue during renovation.
Services for this project were completed by the employees of GL Planning & Design prior to their employment at Stantec.
