Keeping projects safe and on track
Following our involvement with Walmart’s nearby fresh food distribution centre, we are now providing geotechnical engineering and materials testing services for this new facility.
We completed a detailed borehole investigation to provide recommendations for foundation and roadways design. Our final geotechnical report provided design and construction recommendations for the site grading operation, foundation components, slab-on-grade, and pavement structures. In addition, Stantec will be providing quality control testing and inspection services on behalf of the contractor, Stuart Olson Dominion. These services include monitoring of grading operations, deep pile and shallow foundation installation, CCIL certified concrete and asphalt testing and field compaction testing of all fill materials.
