Michael’s passion is to serve communities—to find unique solutions at the intersection of community values and technical expertise. His more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors (including 13 years as public works director of Nampa, Idaho) clearly align with this passion and make him uniquely qualified at finding custom solutions for each client.
Michael makes sure resources and workload align with our project delivery mission. He builds strong teams and collaborative partnerships between technical experts and the communities we serve to sustainably solve current public works challenges on water and wastewater projects. Michael has guided strategic initiatives including developing department-wide asset management programs and cultures, and he also supports business development efforts across all Stantec business lines.
Outside the office, Michael is an avid outdoorsman and cyclist. Active in his community, Michael was recently the service committee chair of the Nampa Rotary Club where he coordinated community service events for the club.
