This updated facility plan lays out plant improvements through 2030 to accommodate growth and treatment limits.

We helped build a roadmap for the future and provide support for every step

As one of the largest wastewater facilities in Idaho, Pocatello’s Water Pollution Control Facility is responsible for domestic and industrial wastewater for not only Pocatello, but also the City of Chubbuck. It takes careful planning to keep the plant running efficiently and it’s our job to help.

We are nearing completion of a multi-year facility plan and capital improvement plan update as well as a comprehensive evaluation of the plant. Providing the planning and pre-construction services, our team helped the City of Pocatello devise a solution to accommodate future growth and aging infrastructure. A new administration building will be added, capacity increased, and infrastructure upgraded. The introduction of biosolids handling, treatment, and disposal will now incorporate composting and other biosolids reuse options.

Our team has worked closely with Pocatello staff to understand and prioritize the plant’s future needs. With so many residents counting on Pocatello, good planning is more important than ever before.
