With over 25 years of experience in cultural resources management, Ellen has spent much of her career in consulting. She helps clients navigate the regulatory requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). A registered professional archaeologist, she meets the Secretary of the Interior’s standards for an archaeologist.
As the technical discipline leader for our US Cultural and Social Sciences group, Ellen supports client account management while also providing technical services for projects in the power and energy, transportation, and community development sectors. She’s served as project manager and senior principal investigator on numerous efforts ranging from Virginia to Utah.
Living in the Houston area, Ellen likes spending time with her two daughters and three dogs, gardening, and listening to live music of all genres.
