Santiago
With our city home to Latin America’s tallest building—the Gran Torre Santiago—we believe the sky’s the limit. That’s why we think big here in the capital city of Chile. For more than 40 years, we’ve been bringing big ideas to town to help meet the needs of mining and energy sectors, two of the pillars of the Chilean economy. We’ve helped with tailings, water supply and reuse, desalination, environmental services, hydropower, and more.
With views of the snow-capped Andes, and beaches within reach for weekend trips, we’re often reminded of why we do what we do. We’re helping to protect our environment for current and future generations. Recently we have developed an environmental impact assessment for a natural gas supply project in northern Chile. The location of this project is in an area with an indigenous population protected by special laws to allow for traditional grazing of their cattle. We identified measures that protect the area with special care to maintain the ancestral values of the community.
