The ARRP Technical Assessors Panel helps the NSW Government execute cost-effective solutions that maintain public hospitals
The Asset Refurbishment and Replacement Program (ARRP) is a New South Wales Government strategy aimed at funding deferred maintenance works at public hospitals. It is about refurbishing, replacing, or upgrading existing equipment and systems back to an acceptable level of safety and fitness for purpose.
Stantec was appointed to the ARRP Technical Assessors Panel, which is responsible for the technical review of projects from various health entities that are being put forward for funding. As part of this panel, our role is to help manage, coordinate, and administer the program based on appropriate selection criteria. The panel reviews documentation, performs site visits, identifies risks, among other activities to help execute a balanced asset improvement program that promotes longevity and prevents asset failure. After the projects have been implemented, the panel evaluates if what was put forward for funding was actually executed.
Our independent review and participation in this panel of technical expects helps our client execute cost-effective solutions that save time and improve safety for each of the respective health facilities.
