14–16 Yarra Street - Engineering Services
Situated in South Yarra, Greystar’s new development aims to offer sustainable, high-quality rental housing. Greystar engaged us to provide advanced engineering solutions for seamless operation and a secure, comfortable living environment for occupants.
We delivered smart functionality and data integration across all engineering services on-site, developing an embedded communication network and an integrated services platform. The robust infrastructure supported smooth data transfer, reducing cabling needs. The internet service provider gave us access to data from various building systems via mobile applications, providing a real-time view of operations.
Targeting a five-star Green Star Design and As-Built certification, the project is set to operate fossil fuel free, powered entirely by renewable energy. To support this, we incorporated rooftop solar panels, façade sun shading devices, and electric vehicle charging points. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with architects and developers to embed sustainable design elements, while maintaining structural integrity and optimising the overall efficiency of the development.
The largest build-to-rent project in Australia, 14–16 Yarra Street is currently under construction and slated for completion in 2025.
