Dan is a chartered town planner with 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors. He mainly works across the north of England, from our Leeds and Manchester offices, and is responsible for delivering town and master planning solutions to our clients. He thinks strategically, understands the development process, and brings together multiple services to provide overall solutions. He has acted as an expert witness in numerous public inquiries and local plan examinations across the United Kingdom.
Dan has worked on projects that include major settlement expansion and Garden Village schemes as well as urban regeneration in the northern cities. He has delivered consents for new homes, major logistics hubs, manufacturing centres, fire stations, and even the Chester Zoo.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys the countryside around his home in Harrogate, often found walking with Bertie, the sausage dog, and his family. He plays golf (badly) and enjoys clay pigeon shooting, motorsport, and being actively involved with several local charities.
