Rebecca is an energy and sustainability specialist with nearly two decades of experience in the property and construction sectors. At a project level, she revels in involvement in long term development opportunities to make sure they can respond appropriately to the challenges of climate change.
With a particular strength in pre-planning stage support, Rebecca’s extensive policy knowledge and background in energy technologies and sustainable design allows her to highlight improvements to strategic masterplan sites and specific buildings. She’s committed to balancing technical and commercial viability and best environmental, social and economic outcomes for clients.
Rebecca has led our contribution to the UK Green Building Council’s resilience and nature programme. She is also a regular commentator and contributor to panels and roundtables on how to understand future risks to the built environment from climate change and shape adaptation strategies. Rebecca was elected to the national Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment Climate Change and Energy Network Steering Group in 2022.
Beyond her professional activities, Rebecca 'treads the boards' at least once a year with her musical theatre company and is almost always actively supporting charities, either fundraising or in a committee role.
