Greg’s a major infrastructure project manager for dam, hydro, and pumped storage projects, especially focused on renewable energy and flood mitigation. He’s been in roles involving feasibility studies, concept and detailed designs, and on-site construction management.
Greg likes working with the many people and organisations needed for major projects, and he thrives on the enormity and challenge of moving massive projects forward. He finds great satisfaction that the projects remain on the landscape for decades and perform to benefit and serve their local communities and economies.
One of Greg’s proudest is the Nadarivatu Hydroelectric Scheme, a renewable energy project in Fiji that he worked on for over 10 years and provides 20 per cent of Fiji’s electricity needs. Greg had roles in investigations, design and construction, and on-site management.
Of all Greg’s projects he finds the most complicated are the do-it-yourself ones at home. He loves skiing and mountain biking.
