Dunedin Ōtepoti

Dunedin Ōtepoti

As the principal city in the Otago region, Dunedin has a long history rooted in both Scottish and Māori tradition. It’s also got a special landscape, with the criss-crossing trails and dramatic views of the adjoining Otago Peninsula home to colonies of albatross, sea lions, and rare yellow-eyed penguins. It’s a history and a backdrop we’re glad to have shared in since our original local founding date of 1898.

As home to some of the country’s major universities, our city’s got a bright future too. We welcome new graduates to our ranks, and we pride ourselves on sharing our established practices while learning from the next generation’s fresh ideas.

We’ve supported projects throughout New Zealand and abroad, and been acknowledged for those efforts. Our Nadarivatu Renewable Energy Project in Fiji received a New Zealand Engineering Excellence Award (2013).
