Setting the stage for improved athletic programs

Following a decades-long push for an aquatic facility—and a new addition to their wrestling center—Eanes independent school district (ISD) finally obtained the funding they needed. We were there to help bring them both to life.

Our team designed a 20,000 square foot, naturally ventilated facility to house a 25-yard competition pool as well as lockers, offices, storage, and exterior site improvements. With the pool able to hold 625 people, the aquatic facility will now be able to operate as a multipurpose facility serving the local high school, local swim organizations, and the surrounding community. This facility was brought about with the Westlake High School swimming and diving program growth in mind to accommodate competitive swimming, competitive diving, water polo, water aerobics and other aquatic activities.

The Eanes ISD wrestling facility is a traditional steel and masonry constructed addition to an existing athletics department building. We designed the new addition to house a multi-purpose space ready for wrestling practice, competitions, training, as well as special events or meetings the district may host. The space has a polished concrete floor and wrap-around storefront windows providing great views to the football stadium.

With the construction complete, students in the Eanes ISD now have a modern place to gather, train, and exercise.
