Providing the planning to promote Corpus Christi's vision of community

To capitalize on an upswing in the energy economy, the City of Corpus Christi set out to create a new comprehensive plan—Plan CC—that would guide the city’s growth for the next two decades. As subconsultant to another firm, we’re leading that plan’s preparation and adherence to Corpus Christi’s vision. A vision of modernized infrastructure, increased options for living choices, a diversified economy, and connected, compact, and amenity-rich neighborhoods.

Plan CC promotes investing in people, places, prosperity, and quality of life. This means encouraging technology-intensive sectors and supporting workforce development. It’ll channel growth by focusing on downtown housing and revitalization. Combine that with mixed-use urban villages and a transportation network, and we can strengthen the economy.

Corpus Christi is on the Gulf Coast, and that means hurricanes. Our plan builds in resilience measures that will help protect against storm-surge damage and sea-level rise. It helps Corpus Christi use its new growth to prepare for the future and affirm its role as the capital of the Coastal Bend region.
