A series of projects to repair and replace aging potable water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
An aging utility infrastructure (dating back to the 1950s) is getting a makeover and one local community is excited! Naples Park is part of the Collier County Public Utilities Renewal (PUR) Program—a multi-year design and construction effort occurring over the next 10-20 years. Original clay sewer mains are being replaced with new PVC pipe and asbestos cement water mains with new PVC mains. Stormwater collection and treatment system rehabilitation work is taking place in the right of way, and the roads will be renewed. Four critical pump stations are being rehabilitated, partial restoration of another 15 pump stations, and the installation of a new force main line will increase wastewater conveyance capacity to prevent overflow conditions.
With multiple projects underway that impact many residents, our team’s construction engineering and inspection services will ensure the work is completed according to the plan as well as addressing field solutions in real-time. We’re also providing a public information officer to assist with a 24-hour project hotline to field and address community concerns, manage program website, and coordinate public information outreach.
