Delivering a multi-purpose facility to our clients quickly
Development of basic engineering of a new facility to gather, treat, and process oil, water, and gas from the current and future production of the 35Z Midway Sunset Lease in Kern County. The project has capacity for approximately 43,000 BFPD, divided as 2,800 BPD of crude oil, 40,000 BPD of produced water, and 1.2 MMSCFD of gas. The facilites included production gathering system, the central processing facility, and pipelines for crude oil shipping and water injection.
The central processing facility includes oil, gas, and water separation, inlet flow meters, inlet separators, heater treaters, oil storage tanks, transfer pumps, and an oil metering system.
The produced water system includes a clarifier tank, a raw tank, a filtered water tank, a soft water tank, a transfer pumps, and a transfer pipeline.The steam generation system includes a water treatment and OTSG’s. This project also features gas compression plant packages and processes utilities such as fuel gas, flare, controls, automation and communication systems, a process control system, an instrument air system, a chemical injection system, and drain systems.
The project was executed on a fast track mode and was successfully completed in 12 months.
