A modern skate park designed to meet user needs
The City of Varennes completely redeveloped its municipal skate park to provide residents with an ultra-modern facility. During the planning phase, our team of urban planning experts, in conjunction with the City, held consultation meetings to obtain input from site users. With cooperation on all sides, the brand new Varennes Skate Plaza was designed in line with the latest industry standards, while also taking users’ needs into account.
Located behind Le Carrefour high school, the new skate park boasts a concrete bowl, ramps, rails, and features allowing for jumps and tricks. The new facility is open to anyone with a skateboard, scooter or BMX bike, and offers infinite possibilities thanks to its smooth lines and well-arranged obstacles, as well as a range of difficulties suited to the various disciplines.
Harnessing our creativity to meet a genuine community need, our team has successfully created a hub of interaction and diversity for the residents of Varennes.
