Jason joined our geotechnical team in 2012 applying his expertise to site investigations and design and construction programs for a variety of sectors, including infrastructure and energy and resources. He has a passion for being outside and on-the-ground at project sites, gaining practical experience in the field. He enjoys supervising, leading, and coordinating projects like the Springbank Dam project—which will protect Calgary from flooding.
Jason’s career experience is diversified through his specialized work in remote locations across Western Canada and the Arctic, where he has added to his multi-faceted knowledge on each new project. With soil and bedrock conditions unique to each site, there is always a different problem to solve or manage. Jason draws upon these experiences, and his knack for problem solving, to produce innovative solutions for his clients.
When he returns home from navigating mountainous terrain on-site in locations such as the Peruvian Andes, you’ll find Jason still atop a mountain, spending his leisure time camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing.
