With 36 years of industry experience, Lez knows how building elements inter-relate, and he understands the essentials of building science as applied to envelope design. He’s often called upon by colleagues across Atlantic Canada for advice and technical peer review on interface detailing, constructability analysis, and scheduling pitfalls. Lez takes on challenges with gusto, and for him, there’s never a boring day at the office.
As a senior construction contract administrator, Lez has played an integral role on many landmark projects in the province including The Rooms Museum Archives and Art Gallery, St. John’s Convention Centre, and 351 Water Street. He also works with both public and private clients on projects ranging from building condition reports, roofing assessments, and interface detailing to technical reviews. Never one to rest on his laurels, Lez recently received the esteemed Buildings Investigations Thermographer certification.
A natural problem solver, Lez doesn’t believe in making rash decisions. For him, trust is the cornerstone of relationship building, and he has developed valuable connections with clients and contractors leading to successful project outcomes.
