Gary has 35 years of experience in all things transportation—from roadway design and traffic management to construction engineering, public participation, environmental documentation, and permitting. As managing lead for the New England surface transportation group, Gary supervises design teams, provides quality control, advises on technical procedures and manages the group’s overall performance.
Gary’s work has been primarily focused on projects for the Departments of Transportation of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. One of his largest recent projects is VT Route 279 (the Bennington Bypass), which involved 4 miles of limited-access highway, 7 bridges, and a systems interchange for a Welcome Center. He managed similar efforts for 18 miles of NH Route 101 and 4 miles of the Hillsborough Bypass in New Hampshire. In addition to these large highways, Gary has also managed and designed rural highways, park-and-ride facilities, and intersection improvements.
