An electrical engineer by trade, Bernie is the practice leader for our Buildings Engineering team in Atlantic Canada. He enjoys balancing his role as a leader with the technical side of the business, applying standards of excellence to oversee the quality and safe delivery of services throughout the region.
For nearly 20 years, Bernie has been designing electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, and recreation facilities across Atlantic Canada. He’s quick adopt new technologies to enhance efficiencies in his work and has been involved in the sustainable design, construction, commissioning, and project management for electrical distribution and systems, such as lighting, communications, and security. Fostering a culture of open communication, mentorship, and inclusivity, Bernie cares about the person behind the professional and the communities we serve. He’s also quick to integrate himself into client teams—so much so, he’s been seconded on two occasions by the same client!
Bernie loves back-country snowmobiling, spending time with family, and rooting for the Montreal Canadiens.
