As an area manager for our US South Major Projects group, Juan has worked on major and minor highway projects throughout Florida. He focuses on alternative project delivery in transportation, and he particularly enjoys design-build because of its dynamic environment and the ability to see immediate results of the team’s effort.
Juan is currently the project manager and engineer of record for the lead segment of the $908 million Golden Glades Interchange reconstruction project, which is included in the Moving Florida Forward infrastructure initiative. On a past Interstate 75 widening design-build project, the Florida Department of Transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection team and contractors voted Juan “Outstanding Partner” to recognize and reward him for his teamwork.
When he’s not working on a highway project, Juan enjoys watching his kids follow in his footsteps by competing at a high level on the soccer field.
