Michael plays an active role in technical development and has overall responsibility for offices in Northern England and Scotland. He’s a chartered civil engineer and holds a degree in engineering and management from the University of Durham.
As a director, Michael specializes in the planning and delivery of land development projects and has extensive experience in the project management and design of multidisciplinary projects. He’s worked with public and private sector clients on brownfield and greenfield sites for mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial schemes. This includes Paradise Birmingham, Birmingham’s Cycle Revolution, major development proposals in York, Lincoln, Plymouth and also the development of land around the Silverstone racing circuit. Michael also oversees our involvement in the motorsport sector, managing work at Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and the Bedford Autodrome.
When not at work, Michael helps his local community in devising projects to improve the public realm, but mainly spends his time running after his kids around the park. He’s a keen sportsman, playing football, badminton, golf, and running when he can!
