An architect with over 20 years of experience, Jeff is the managing principal of our Winnipeg Buildings Group. From interacting with key participants during the design phase to creating a sense of shared ownership at project close, he measures success by the impact designs have on the end users.
Jeff is known for the care he takes in collaborating and creating facilities that have implicit meaning for the people involved and for those who will use the facility. He regards each project as a shared endeavor and has developed an extensive portfolio of work. Taking special interest in designing educational facilities, he’s most recently worked on efforts in remote, northern First Nation communities. He particularly enjoys designing for children, creating thoughtful architecture that, in itself becomes, a teaching tool.
For Jeff, architecture isn’t just about design. It’s about leading, coordinating, and inspiring the entire team including the clients and communities with whom he partners. He designs with people and for people, drawing on ideas born of collective talk to create an architecture of place.
