Liliana is the electrical discipline leader for Australia responsible for standardisation, efficiency and optimisation of all aspects of the electrical service. As the electrical project technical lead, Liliana has spent the last 25 years as the section manager for underground power design in Australia. However, she recently stepped away from that role to become Australia’s Electrical discipline leader. In that capacity, she applies her time, skills, knowledge, and ideas to the long-term betterment of the Company and the success she can bring to commercial buildings projects—arts, sports, and recreation developments.
In her project technical lead role, Liliana is responsible for all aspects of a project from conception to handover. She oversees engagement with stakeholders, client meetings, communications, quality control, technical coordination, and more. She’s also very proud to have been part of the Perth Optus Stadium project. The project’s fan’s-first philosophy combined with sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology resulted in Optus Stadium receiving the Prix Versailles 2019 Sports Award and being named the most beautiful stadium in the world.
Liliana starts her day best with an early morning running group, swimming in the ocean, and a great coffee. When she has free time, she loves to spend it with her two grandchildren who bring her joy, fun, and even some wisdom.
