With over 15 years of experience in the transportation industry, Matthew has served as a project manager on traffic engineering and transportation planning projects. These have involved the oversight of traffic impact, concept development, parking demand, transit-oriented development, and traffic calming studies. He has also worked on traffic signal plans and operation analyses.
Whether presenting technical findings to clients or explaining the results of analyses in layman's terms at community engagement events and planning board testimonies, Matthew’s knowledge of and passion for traffic engineering is evident. He sees every project as an opportunity to improve the safety of transportation facilities. He maintains that reducing the likelihood of fatal and serious injury crashes can always be achieved via relatively inexpensive countermeasures.
When he isn’t making travel safer, you can find Matthew tending to his vegetable garden and cooking new dishes with his wife.
