With over 15 years of experience in our landscape architecture and urban design practice, Gentry is an expert in managing public space projects characterized by complex efforts, which integrate design and engineering.
Gentry’s projects bring communities together in dense urban cities, enhance social sustainability, and create more livable neighborhoods. Her ability to collaborate successfully with public agencies is evident in the major projects she has led, among them the East Midtown Greenway project, Parachute Way Plaza in Coney Island, and the Governor’s Island Slide Hill.
As a principal and project manager, Gentry has been instrumental in building the landscape architecture practice in the NYC office. Her commitment to supporting others is evident through her dedication to working with emerging landscape architects and designers to help them advance. Gentry serves on the board of directors for the Bryant Park Management Corporation and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects New York Transportation and Infrastructure committee.
