Through his specialty in energy-conscious design, Dave is making a difference, community by community, designing buildings that use less energy and emit less pollution. He brings to his work, in particular for laboratory, research, and healthcare facilities, an in-depth understanding of mechanical systems that is vital to these complex facilities. Dave is a creative problem solver and applies strategic planning and technology to creatively integrate the design of mechanical systems into the building architecture, optimizing functionality and aesthetics while achieving cost efficiencies.
Dave has led teams in creating award-winning projects that have received both regional and national ASHRAE Energy Awards. Key projects include the Cornell Physical Sciences Building, Corning DX and DV Buildings, Nazareth College Integrated Center for Science and Mathematics, Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Pittsburgh Convention Center.
