You don’t need to speak several languages to be a good communicator, but it helps that Naïma is well versed in English, French, and Arabic. As our Communication and Visibility Officer, Naïma oversees and guides the planning and execution of our communication projects with the European Union (EU) and other international institutions.
With master’s degrees in EU international relations and the study of European construction, Naïma has a keen appreciation for the nuances of diplomacy and negotiation and applies these skills to building effective relationships between stakeholders in public, private, and non-government organizations. A PRINCE2-certified project manager, she advances our visibility projects across an environment of multi-stakeholder viewpoints, cultural divides, and complex regulations, making sure every project complies with European Intellectual Property Rights and General Data Protection Regulation.
In her spare time, Naïma enjoys taking long walks in nature and listening to underground Korean R&B music. She also volunteers for a non-government organization that provides academic guidance and career counselling to young people.
