As group leader, Cormac is responsible for developing and managing the strategic and business focus of Stantec’s various specialty services including sustainability, acoustics, and specialist lighting. His expertise? Building services design and coordination, project management, and quality management.
As a sustainability consultant, his role is to provide technical excellence and advice to all members of the design team in relation to sustainable strategies and concepts. Cormac’s focuses are on human comfort, thermal performance, energy efficiency, daylight, energy generation systems, sustainability rating tools, and simulation modelling, and he has successfully led and delivered projects from all industry sectors.
Cormac is a keen sports fan and has tried his hand at a considerable number of them over the years—from ice hockey and snowboarding to rowing and high-flying trapeze, to name a few. When he’s not hanging upside-down you can find him enjoying everything Melbourne has to offer from an arts and culture perspective with his family and friends.
