With four decades in the power generation industry, Jim has gained extensive knowledge of project planning, design, construction, and startup. His experience includes most forms of power generation including gas turbines, coal plants, hydro, wind, geothermal, and nuclear. His understanding of the various disciplines involved in power projects—and his mechanical engineering background—give him valuable knowledge for the ongoing energy transition.
Jim has managed a variety of projects ranging from small plant services projects to large grass-roots EPC combined cycle installations, and coal-fired plants. His open and accessible communication style ensures that clients are well informed about their project’s status on a regular basis via meetings and frequent direct communications. He believes that continuous client input and involvement are another key to project success.
During his leisure time, Jim enjoys the beauty of Colorado by partaking in numerous outdoor activities. He is also learning how to play the ukulele and expanding on his guitar playing knowledge.
