Dan is a licensed architect with more than a decade of architectural design experience. As a principal and design lead, he guides the collaborative design process between owner, stakeholders, and project team through visioning, programming, planning, and design development.
First drawn toward architecture’s impact on people as an artform, Dan saw how it can elevate and inspire the human spirit. Leading the design on Emerson High School in Frisco ISD was very rewarding for Dan. This project was a great example of how Stantec partnered with the district to create a school that reflects their academic mission and tradition while developing an innovative, forward-thinking learning environment. Dan believes it is very important to create an inclusive design process where all team members have a voice and feel empowered to participate.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—with four boys, playing outside gives his family a chance to connect and be active together.
