Rachel believes that when people challenge themselves and focus on their strengths, the best teams are built. She is a project manager in our North Bay office, where she brings a creative and technical background and works to deliver effective solutions to our mining clients around the world.
With more than ten years of experience in the mining industry, Rachel has managed and supported engineering projects in the prefeasibility through commissioning phases. She’s a recipient of the Rick Hutson Mentorship Award, as presented by Women in Mining Canada, and she’s a strong advocate of promoting professional growth and finding the right team member for the role. This serves her well in her current role as the operations leader for Mining in our Canada East region.
Beyond the office, Rachel participates in the local Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM) chapter and judges at the local FIRST competition every year. When not volunteering around the community, you’ll find her practicing with the local roller derby team, enjoying a good book, or fulfilling her love of travel.
