Gregg has 15 years of experience working with state and federal environmental regulations and permitting on airport development projects. He enjoys the collaboration and teamwork you get when working on airport improvement projects. “Most of these projects are multidisciplinary and involve planning, environmental review, and design.”
Pretty recently, Gregg wrapped up an environmental assessment for the Rhode Island Airport Corporation. On a demanding timeline, Gregg and his team evaluated the potential impacts of removing acres of obstructions (mostly trees) within an urban setting to ensure safe airspace for a major runway extension.
For anyone new to the field, or looking at joining, he says “it’s never too soon to start building your network. Volunteer in your community, join professional organizations, and reach out to coworkers—personal and professional opportunities abound.”
When he’s not at work, Gregg enjoys fishing, camping, and boating with his family. In the winter though, they’re probably skiing or enjoying potluck dinners with friends on chilly weekend afternoons.
